waste of time

went on Saturday to look at a 3 bedroom that was available. we were not shown the apartment bc there was no manager on site. the new hire did tell us it was first come . Monday comes and was told It couldnt be lease without the student who was over 18 so that she can fill out paperwork..today comes and deposit and money order in hand to lease it..paperwork is started for both. mind you the new hire that was there on Saturday was the one to greet today and give the paperwork. a bit of time goes… by and the new hire says oh I'm sorry that apartment was leased an hour ago after knowing the money order were written after being told it was available. if it weren't available the money orders wouldnt have been written in the property's name....so not only was it unprofessional to not know your property status but to then just offer a waiting list after knowing the money orders are in the property name and now it's just a piece of paper bc it cant be used anymore as it's in the property's name. Having to be out June 2 at current property and waiting list isn't until mid June which does no good. absolutely disappointed with how this was handled by the property.
