After living here for 1 year, they have been slow to repair the apartment front door that was attempted to be broken into. They failed to fix the locking mechanism on the sliding glass door, which my only way to secure it was with a stick preventing it to be opened. The air vents are full of dust and the vents blackened from moisture coming from the AC unit. Mold is prevalent in the apartment due to leaking plumbing. Roaches are abundant even after they've attempted to fog the place. As for... maintenance requests, you can't rely on the receptionist or the managers to open a ticket even if you share pictures with them. They've taken the easy way out by asking if you made an online request for maintenance. Before you attempt to see the beautiful model apartment, walk through the complex and you'll see how filthy the place is maintained which explains the roach infestation inside the apartments. I'm sure this place was spectacular when it was new in the early 2020's but you'll it's pretty dilapidated since management and maintenance don't make an effort to maintain it. Btw, don't let the gates fool you as well, it's not a gated community as they advertise it to be. They are never closed, which allows anyone onto the property. Finally, don't be fooled by the pretty model as we were. I regret my kid living here and honestly, I wouldn't let my dog live in this place knowing exactly what my kid has gone through. Read More

I have been living at Madera for over 3 years now and it has been amazing! If you are looking for a place near UTSA, student or not, these apartments are amazing!

My son stayed here. Was the worst. If you’re a parent reading this DO NOT let your kid live here.

Even the employees notice how awful and unprofessional these women are. I regret signing her so much. Both the assistant manager and manager are come completely different pages and thus give contradicting information to residents. Not only but that the amount they charged me after move in- brand new carpets and wall paint?? I lived there for 3 months and somehow i’m to pay the whole entire thing when it clearly wasn’t me. Absolutely awful. Spend your money somewhere else.
