The Curve

I’ve lived at The Curve for a year now and the move in process was horrible. The apartment was not move in ready, nor were we able to pick up our apartment keys at the discussed time. The maintenance staff does not check the online portal to aid in residents requests and you have to either go to the office (and hope you catch their one leasing agent) or hope you run into a maintenance man on the premises to inform them of your issue. This summer our AC has gone out on multiple occasions. In… Texas, this is a huge problem. Our unit stayed over 90 degrees during the day and dropped to the high 80s during the evenings. It took the apartment complex 8 days to remedy this issue. To make matters worse, my roommate is pregnant. When you get it all is very nice inside, but the reality is another, my roof was mold but they only fixed it when it was almost over the year and I was about seven months like that, the bathroom water was leaking into the bedroom and never fixed it (at least I moved out and they didn't do it while I was there), and so I had breaking problems, they go into your house and check if everything works well, but they never fix what's wrong. We have lived here almost 2years. Its perfect for small families and collage students not far from everything. Fast food, Walmart, HEB, TSU lots of fun night life down town on the squar. Public transportation too!! The river is across the street!!!! And this place has free kayaks!! Its a nice quiet community. Grounds and Pool is clean. They have been doin some face lifting on the grounds over the summer I've noticed. The water did get shut off due to the city having to do some upgrading as… well. The office staff is horrible, water is constantly being shut off for maintenance. Even though they are remodeled almost everything breaks or was done incorrectly during remodeling (plumbing and electrical). It is also very dangerous. Countless drug deals, car break ins and even home invasions. I lived her 2 years and it was a huge mistake.
