THE ABBEY AT NORTHPOINT

The amenities and staff are pretty awesome! They offer neat social activities and are responsive to requests! Location is great if you need to hop on the tollway. 15 min from IAH, 6 min drive to the heart of the woodlands entertainment! Great place to live!

Not a place you wanna livein! I was super excited when I was moving in last year. It was beautiful and has a convenient location. Initially it had a different owner and thing were going decent overall. However everything started changing when the Abbys took this place over. Horrible management! Just read other comments about parking issues,smokings, dead roaches, dog’s droppings, loud residents who would do karaoke at 2 am or people who would continue partying in the pool even after midnight!… Dogs that are left in the balconies barking for hours...yes I do confirm all those issues and it is definitely management’s fault who won’t do much about them. I was literally counting the days before my lease ends just to move out. They recently send me a final bill asking $20 for dirty washer and drier! Seriously?? Were you expecting me to get into the dryer and clean it or buy a new washer dryer for you?!! Such a shame! There was a time there were workings at the parking and they never gave me a notice or anything and my car was covered in crap and dirt and paint and debris but I decided not to get any money for the carwash and a detail (I was paying $50 every month for that parking!!) however they charged me for a dirty washer and dryer! I wanted to talk to their manager but she refused to wave the charges and this person (Amanda) was so rude who never returned my calls back. 1. I can only confirm the fact that management is not honest and does not have customer service in mind by any means. All they do is point fingers at different departments and contractors and get nothing done.
2. I tried moving out towards the beginning of June, but they said I should just leave my keys in the apartment and they would do the final walk-through when they get to it. It happened August 30th so nearly 2 months later.
3. The Luxor mail service is a tragedy, you are paying for a… service that has you worried where your package is.
4. They leave unnecessary sticky notes at your door every other week to inform you about something that could be communicated via e-mail. Letting everybody know that you are clearly not at home, when on a trip for example.
5. It smells like weed in every floor.
6. The amenity fee stays the same, even though all amenities, the reason why you were wanting to move there, have restricted or no access to them at all.
7. All in all, when you are expecting a luxury apartment experience, this is not it, except for the price.
