The Flats at Sugarland

Their bad reviews are 100% honest. I reached out to the leasing office and told the lady I didn’t know the unit number off the top of my head, but I knew it was available on March 6th. I asked if she could email the videos and photos. She told me to check the website. Then I asked which floor plan it was, and she said I could look it up myself. I explained that I was asking questions because I thought it was the leasing officer’s job to answer them and help bring in customers. She replied that I... hadn’t even told her the unit number. I said she could ask me questions and I would respond. Then she asked if it was a one-bedroom.

At that point, I realized this was not an apartment building I wanted to deal with, so I excused myself and ended the call. Keep in mind, I was on an international call and reached out because these sites are hard to access from outside the U.S. Leasing officers are paid to help customers, not push them away because they don’t want to do their job. Had a great tour leasing was awesome and the property is beautiful! The gym alone is worth the move for me.

Rented here for 3 years
Pros:
-Friendly maintenance and so- so staff. They are nice and helpful on some days but then other days they treat you like your an annoyance.

-Surrounding area is nice and conveniently close to Richmond ,Sugarland and Houston.

-Reasonably priced if your looking to get on your feet and oyster creek is a really nice school.

Cons:
SILVERFISH,ROACHES, SPIDERS, ANTS, WASPS, BIRDS, POSSUMS, ARMADILLOS, RACCOONS, CARPET BEETLES, PROTEIN BUGS AND THE REST OF THE ANIMAL... AND INSCET WORLD!!
-Residents have illegal dog breeds and they chase you through the neighborhood

-Unruly and unsupervised children that dent your cars and harass you and dirty the pool

-The neighborhood is becoming more unsafe and loud by the year

-If you renew they will jack up your rent

-I had two burglary and vandalism incidents to my car
While reasonably priced it is not worth the headaches that comes with it.

My advice is to either rent somewhere else or use this a temporary stepping stone to a better place to live. Read More

this does not have any roaches or mice of that sort. but if you love speed bumps this place is right for you! going over 6 speed bumps and dealing with many big groups walking at a time just to reach the main road every single day is a pain not only on your car but for your own mental sake. good luck finding a parking spot thats not in a dark area because theyre all taken. why can you not park in a dark area you ask? there are people that went on sprees of bashing peoples car windows in for fun.... you also better hope that your upstairs neighbor isnt above 100 pounds because them getting up and walking sounds like there is an elephant above you Read More

What can I say, I absolutely love living at Landmark at Sugar Land. The maintenance team and office team are so truly kind and quick to respond. I would absolutely recommend this community!
