The Bridges on Kinsey

I have lived here since 2020 and it's been wonderful! The office staff and maintenance are always so friendly and helpful. My A/C went out last summer and maintenance came in the middle of the night and fixed it. The grounds always look neat and well maintained. You can tell they take pride in their property. 10/10 highly recommend!

First off, I am not one to go out of my way to leave a bad review. I understand that things happen that are out of others’ control, but seeing some effort to fix issues that are brought up would certainly put my mind at ease

1.) The landscaping is terrible. Downed trees and limbs that are left on the ground for weeks, grass clippings left on sidewalks and in corridors, etc.

2.) The trash piles up frequently within the receptacle enclosures, often over the edge of the dumpsters and is left... lying about for days until it’s collected.

3.) When a complex advertises security and locked gates, I expect them to work. In 10 months of living here, the gates have been fully operational MAYBE 1/4 of that. They are either left open, won’t open, or are partially shut.

4.) The biggest issue of all is that I have experienced three plumbing-related issues while living here. A busted seal under the kitchen sink, a leak that came through my ceiling in the bathroom, and most recently a kitchen faucet that blew off, flooded my kitchen and ruined some personal belongings. All of this on top of a mediocre-at-best paint job, missing trim and horribly outdated appointments.

4.) It is IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with anyone above on-site management. I have left voicemails and sent emails and I've never received the first response.

We have lived at the Bridges for over 6 years. The office staff is always helpful and courteous. The maintenance staff is great! Any needed repairs are completed the same day. We lived at a different Tyler complex of the same size for 5 years. In every way Bridges is far superior.

From what I am told, this used to be nice until present management group took over. Now it is advertised as luxury but is barely better than an economy apartment with luxury pricing. Pool and amenities are usually not working properly or down entirely. The security gate is broken the day after it's repaired, and has been like this for the 2 years that we've been here. We're only still here as our next move will be our forever home and don't wish to go through the process of moving again. Oh... , and office staff usually ignores you. Ever since the complex sold and switched management this community has gone down hill. Their phones are constantly “temporarily offline” when they are on they don’t anwser. Parking is terrible, in most areas they have more paid cover parking than general. Gates have been out of commission for over a year and there’s more.

On a positive note they do have a great maintenance team.
