I lived here for 1 year and always paid my rent on time. The unit itself was very cool in terms of the layout and the finishes were great. However, the upkeep was poor and move-in/move-out were a nightmare. For move-in, I came from out of state and had arranged a move-in date two months in advance. The night before I was supposed to begin my very long drive, the landlord emailed and said he expected me the next morning. When I said he had agreed to the day after next, he argued with me, said... that was not correct, and made it very known that I was inconveniencing him. While living there, every time it rained my ceiling leaked. Every time. It was never properly fixed. I just had to make sure there were no electronics in the way on a rainy night. Lastly, move out was a nightmare. Again, I set up a move out date weeks in advance and he was unavailable on the day. I hired cleaners for move out. They missed 5 minor spots (I know because he sent pics). The most “serious” were a dusty light fixture and a light calcium ring around the toilet. He charged me FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS for a “total unit clean” saying that it was too dirty. This landlord is rude, cheap, and unrealistic.

There are many other townhome options in Victoria. In my experience, the cool layout wasn’t worth the landlord. If you move in here, he expects you to work entirely around his schedule and he is rarely in town. He also expects you to prepare his unit for the next tenant and expects to do nothing himself. We lived here for a little over one year and loved it. The floorplan was unique w/loft and very open with natural light which was what we were looking for. The property and landscaping was well maintained and the few maintenance requests were quickly resolved. The neighborhood is very quiet and conveniently located to everything that we needed in town.

Located in a nice neighborhood and with high ceilings and lots of light. It has a fenced small back yard and patio. Neighbors are quiet and nice . Landscape nice. Wish the floors were hardwood, not carpet, and the appliances could be updated. Rent is reasonable.
