Brigadoon Apartments

Parking is horrible! It's a tiny little space & if you're not careful you will bump your car.They only give parking priority to top floor. They say no pets allowed but there are cats literally everywhere & people have dogs (capable people who clearly don't need a service animal or have them in a vest). The worse part is, is that there is dog poop everywhere on the grass. The thing that realllllly upsets me, is there is a zero tolerance for smoking but people smoke here ALL THE TIME & it travels... in your home. The walls are super thin so you literally hear everything that goes on. There are 0 children that I've seen. It's not kid friendly at all, it's more of a single college/married housing unit. You will also have numerous problems with your apartment. We've lived here for 8 months and we have had nothing BUT problems... the pipes all froze during the winter, the locks on the windows are sketchy, the screen door barely locks, ants and bugs everywhere. The sliding doors for the closet constantly come out & it is extremely hot here in the summer... the only AC is in the living room & they don't clean it at all... you have to before you use it. (Snails & box elder bugs all over the sidewalks outside) The only thing I've liked here is the old maintenance man. He is super on the ball & super kind. Parking is awful, they couldn't secure us a reserved lot, having to park in the basement guest lost, and your car will get bumps and scratches if you are not careful. Also air conditioning is only in the living room. Your bedrooms are going to be awfully hot during the summer. However, the location is good, and the price is also cheap. You definitely get what you pay for.
