Don't fall for it

The apartment descriptors here are total bogus. Walk-in closets? Granite countertops? Dining Room? 24-hour availability? Yeah right! They must be living in a different dimension than the one I'm in. I've lived here for three years because the rent is cheap with three roommates and it's close to campus. But this is NOT a nice apartment complex, and it doesn't have those things that they say they do. It's very old, and that's evident in every aspect of the apartment: creaky, sunken floors;... everything smells; leaks are common; it's just not pleasant. They turn on the heat in the middle of November, and not before, and turn on the air conditioning in June, no matter how often you ask them to. And if you need something fixed (like my bathroom ceiling that's still collapsing), you'd better be ready to bug them every day for a month, because two maintenance requests apparently aren't enough. And this isn't just me; every single roommate that's lived here with me (8) has said the same thing upon moving out. *sigh* It's been a long three years. Buyer beware.
