Misrepresents things online

The Lark posts pictures online of certain rooms, but will not give specific details about room dimensions or layouts until after signing contracts. The online images also misrepresent the actual size of the apartments. The communication is very poor and representatives are not honest about questions about the room. You are also assigned random layouts and rooms within your apartment--for example a friend of mine paid for an XL room and ended up with an L-shape, which was much different that the… 9.5x9.8ft room described by the Lark representative. The room also only had a small window, while the other XL in the apartment had a wall of windows. It is a gamble going to the Lark and it is not worth it for the price!

Lark is Terrible!

Tho room and location is good but they will take every chance to charge you when you move out or move to another unit. My roommate and I were charged when we move to another unit because Lark asserts we damaged the wall of common area which we did not! And they don’t provide any proof for that. In terms of the management, Lark is Horrible!!!

Nice Apartment Building - Strong Undergraduate Presence

The Lark has nice apartments and the front desk and maintenance workers are good. It has less residents and is more strict about not having loud parties compared to the Standard and the Flats which I love. I am a medical student and chose the Lark because of it's 2 min walk from the hospital. The only real negative for me is that most of the residents are undergraduates, so for people past that stage of life it can be annoying. That being said if I could do it again I'd still choose Lark!

Lark

Great apartment, great staff, and security system is also nice. The front door locks after office hours but there is also an app that residents can use to unlock the door.
