Good luck getting deposit back…
I was one of the first residents to move into Elysian over a year ago, and while living here was fine, my experience after moving out has been extremely disappointing. The apartment was thoroughly clean, move-in ready, and I never hung anything on the walls—yet I was still charged a $135 “cleaning fee” despite my lease containing no such clause.
Since moving out, I have called multiple times (voicemail every time) and sent several emails requesting to discuss the charge. I have yet to receive... any real response. It feels like the management is determined to keep as much of the security deposit as possible, regardless of the lease terms or the condition you leave the unit in.
You might enjoy living here—but wait until you move out and see how much of your deposit you actually get back.
