I moved to this building when they just built it. The previous management was great and they would solve any problem as soon as possible. After about a year a new person started managing the complex and he is absolutely the worst. They try to rip you off in any way possible. My heater was not working for more than a year and they still didn't fix it. The real eastator that he works with is very disorganized as well. The location might be good but don't fall in their trap because you would never... want to deal with this manager and his team! After living and dealing with this person for years all I'm going to tell you is to AVOID this place!

I love my apartment ! I would highly recommend South Range to anyone I know. The management is great, and the design is exactly what I was looking for when I moved here. I am situated in a beautiful part of town, which is conveniently within walking distance to UVA, but also close to Charlottesville's Historic Downtown Mall. I could not have asked for a better place to enjoy all that Charlottesville has to offer.

My apartment is very nice -- and the location is unbeatable. I have lived here for the past two years, and plan to stay until my program is finished. I have and will continue to highly recommend South Range!

Moved into this build when it was brand new. Unfortunately rushed construction, done poorly. As a result original building owners, quickly cut their losses after poring money into patch jobs. New management is difficult to work with. Recommend looking else where, not worth the headache, especially given the price.
