The renowned Dahlgren School (pre-K through eighth grade) located on base is the only DoD Navy school in the country. To take advantage of this opportunity, all students must reside on the installation in Liberty Military Housing. King George Middle School and King George High School are located only a short distance from the installation, and the Mary Washington Healthcare and Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center are a 45-minute drive from base.
