My wife and I had a scheduled tour today and upon our arrival no one greeted us in the lobby. There was a meeting going on in the main area and there was a young lady sitting in an office just staring at us. Her body language and demeanor appeared off as she refused to get up to address our concerns. Eight or so minutes later a lady who was involved in the meeting got up and told the young lady to assist us. When she did she didn't introduce herself, appeared nonchalant and ignored the fact... that I told her we had a scheduled tour. No acknowledgement whatsoever! The Franklin Johnston Group manages this particular property. I've been a long time resident and tenant. Property management and it's relationship with tenants is poor. There's is an evident lack of regard and understanding for communication, problem-solving, professionalism, understanding and accountability. The condition and quality of living has steadily declined over the years. Management would more than likely attribute this phenomenon to the quality of tenants but that's not problem. This apartment complex is absolutely terrible. Management are unwilling to work with you and will charge you fees for everything. You're not allowed to have more than 1 vehicle per tenant, no grill for residents, no amenities besides a crappy gym.

The crime has become out of control. Drugs, gangs, murders, etc. There has been 4 major incidents in the neighborhood, 2 in which were fatal (9/16 and 9/24).I never see security and even with security the crime still happens in the open. Community of Shorehaven Apartments is a very great place to live. Very relaxing and warming, I feel at home. They have nice trash compactors, dog park, swimming pool and fitness center. I love this community! I would recommend taking a tour at Shorehaven.

I am coming up on a year lease and there is no grilling area, package service or game room. If you have packages delivered the residents in the community will take it.
