This property is VERY poorly maintained and poorly managed by a dishonest property management team.

I lived there for 3 years. It was the most horrible place to live. Murder, drugs, no security, management sucks and they are never in the office. They lose all your paperwork and blame you for not having ut or say you never gave it to them. Very unprofessional staff and their owner, The Franklin Johnston Group is no better. You'll be way better off paying a couple hundred more a month for a better place to live. The pool is never open because they don't have lifeguards. Maintenance ruins things… in your apartment and then you get blamed. Maintenance will tell residents when their carbon monoxide detector is going off to just go to sleep and they will check it in the morning. Thank God they called 911 because their carbon monoxide was at 100%!! Street crimes police all over the place with k9s. Fights in the streets, title kids running around all hours of the night. The property and the neighborhood are going downhill FAST. We’ve had water damage in our bathroom ceiling for a year because maintenance never came to fix it, despite our multiple requests. Sloppy paint jobs, poorly sealed windows, and you can just tell they used the cheapest materials possible to build these apartments. You definitely get “the landlord special” when it comes to repairs. Cops are always coming and going through the neighborhood, someone was shot and killed in the complex not… long ago, drug busts, neighbors getting arrested for everyone to see, and the leasing office now keeps their front doors locked because of an “incident”. Speaking of the leasing office, they are no help for anything. If you go to them with a question or concern, they immediately respond with an attitude. Even for the price, I wouldn’t live here again. STAY AWAY!!! Maintenance is AWFUL. Claimed they’d come fix things since I moved in over a year ago. I’ve gotten fed up reminding them so I still have holes in my walls from the previous renter. I asked for pest control to come each week as I’m on the bottom floor and the bugs are awful because of poorly sealed windows (which I also asked to be fixed and of course was told the needed to order a part and would be back- never came back). Pest control has only come twice because I literally have to… call EVERY WEEK to have them come each week. NOW I haven’t been able to do laundry for almost a month because my dryer broke. They took the broken piece out and once again “ordered the part” said it would take 4 days. Here I am nearly 3 weeks later and still can’t do my laundry in my own home. The increased the rent this month and I paid it. Rent is higher than a mortgage because you’re supposed to pay for amenities- SUCH AS ON SITE MAINTENANCE. I am fuming mad at this point. I’ve emailed management to fix it on a week after they said they’d be back and never showed up. A week after my email I called to follow up, made sure that email was a good one and she said “oh, yeah I got it”. DID NOTHING ABOUT MY ISSUE BUT LOOKED AT IT.
