I am a recent college grad and took a job in area and was looking for apartments. This place was at the top of my list after visiting because the surrounding area was very nice and it was conveniently located near my work. However, during a tour of the building, some red flags were being raised in regard to customer service of the leasing office. The person who gave me a tour contradicted herself several times in regard to what apartment would actually be available during my move in as well as... what the rent of the place was. Our tour was also rudely interrupted by a tenant and the person giving the tour did not apologize for the incident.

After touring several other places that day, I came back in near close hoping to get one last look at the place before I left at 4 am the next morning so I could be confident in my decision. They proceeded to tell me they couldn’t show the open apartment because it was complete mess from them making hot chocolate in it a few days before. They said I could look at it the next day, but I told them I wouldn’t be back until my start date and they didn’t seem to care.

Ignoring all these red flags, I still decided to apply and was told my application was denied because my job wasn’t going to start until a month after I move in. They said I needed 3x monthly rent in income for the entirety of the lease term, even though I had an offer letter that indicated I was going to make around 6x the monthly rent when the job started. I offered to pay the 2 months rent that I would have before my job started when I signed the lease. However that was apparently not enough.

Overall, avoid this place. Management is rude and it is a hassle to communicate with. I feel as though I have dodged a bullet by being declined. Read More

The area looks really nice from the outside. I always really loved the area and the events I would attend. The issue is the management/leasing staff.
The staff changed while I was an applicant and both times no one is professional or understand the product that they are renting to residents. My experience was over a two month period and I had to keep in contact with the office to get answers on my application status, welcome letter and move in. I had to even resend all my information in after I... was told I was approved verbally by a leasing consultant and the online system. I made sure I paid all of my fees and turned everything in as soon as I was asked. I was then shown an apartment that I was told was ready and wasn’t. The carpets smelled of thick cigarette smoke and when I asked if they had been cleaned I was then told no. I was shown where I had to walk my trash into a dumpster room while walking past dead water bugs and I wouldn’t know where my parking space would be located until my move in date. The situation with the parking spot was confusing and I couldn’t risk being up charged $45.00 on my move in date. The rent price was fine and I was ok with all the fees but once I was shown where my apartment was, smelled it, went into the trash room, explained the parking issue I decided it wasn’t worth it.
The one bedroom was outside at the back of the property looking like a motel. I called back and spoke with the Leasing consultant that same day and asked to cancel and also for my deposit back she told me it was non refundable. I let her know I didn’t receive any paperwork stating that. I do have paperwork stating the application fee is non refundable. When I asked to speak to a manager or regional she told me they would say the same. She had an attitude and I asked for her manager to please contact me. This was November 4,2022 and I emailed the office including the property manager on November 7,2022. I still have not heard from the office. I went to the management office and I was told they do not have anything to do with the operations of this property unless it is to pay bills. So, if you have an issue with anyone in the office there is no one else for you to speak with. In the years I was in the industry I never heard of that. Also make sure you keep all receipts of your payments per my experience and emails.

The apartment is pretty but I WILL NOT live anywhere that has roaches
Not acceptable with the amount of rent I pay.
I moved in August 20 and seen about 4. Disgusting
I’ve never had roaches in my other apartments and I’m just so pissed about this
The move in list hasn’t been completed yet
Just not excited about living in these apartments anymore

I have lived here a short time and have had a less than favorable experience with many issues. I would not recommend to others seeking out a peaceful place to live. I am keeping a running list of experiences, and will update my review upon move out.
