Very bad experience
I lived in this apartment for nearly two years and had several frustrating experiences, especially with the property manager.
Once, my scooter was stolen after I left it briefly in the hallway. I asked to check the security footage, but the manager said I had to file a police report first. Strangely, before the police even arrived, he called to say the cleaning crew had it. He reminded me that hallways are “public areas,” and they take no responsibility for stolen items—even if left for seconds... .
What confused me most was how difficult it was to access footage to find my stolen item, yet when I briefly placed an old mattress on the trash platform, the manager appeared in seconds. No greeting—just: “I have a question. Why did you put your stuff there?” His tone was rude and aggressive. He somehow knew exactly which room I came from and where I put the item. I felt constantly watched—he even warned me that if I threw anything in “his area,” he’d see it and fine me $150.
On another occasion, I asked about a possible issue with my utility bill, and he coldly said it wasn’t his responsibility and told me to figure it out myself.
Between the surveillance overreach, double standards, lack of basic courtesy, and unwillingness to help, I can’t recommend this place. Future tenants should be aware before signing a lease.
