surprised former renter
At 1st I was fine with everything, the apartments are very old, but I could deal. Didn't have many complaints because it was apartment living (noise), you cant expect peace unless you own a home. The maintenance did what was told, pretty fast. When my lease was up I expected to renew it because it was my child's senior yr., and I didn't want to interrupt that. But low and behold, they would not renew, no explanation why, just be out by the end of the month, so I was very confused never late on... my rent or anything, I don't if was my skin color or what. So I moved out on time, then I get a suit for damages for over 2000, now that's was the last straw, I have never. Taking them to court for sure with a lawyer. Based on my experience with 4 young children, I would say don't because they are looking for tenants to remodeled their history. Management was nice which was even more confusing, didn't like the giant scary dog aka security. Document everything, take pictures of everything on move in and move out if you dare attempt to move in.

Property Manager at Brandon Point Apartments responded to this review
We are glad you recognized that the maintenance team is responsive. While the buildings were built many years ago, the apartments are spacious and well located. Our apartments are pet friendly, and one of the property managers regularly brings her... dog to the office. He is a large dog, but certainly not scary. In fact, people come to the office just to see and pet him. On move out, we do everything possible to help tenants avoid charges. We offer a "pre-inspection" to help identify areas that might require attention. As well, the tenant can be present at the move out inspection so that they know exactly what is resulting in a charge. And we would have taken pictures as well.
