I recently went back through my old emails and found the exchange between the leasing manager and I over this debacle they try to pass off as an apartment. Upon researching this apartment complex again, to see if they have made any changes, I somehow found that this place is rated 3 stars and above.. and I have to ask how? Must be fake reviews.

When I tried to move in last year; after giving my deposit and first month rent, the day of my move in I was told maintenance was going to make sure my… unit was clean and intact. Which by all means, is very fine with me. I didn’t want to be in their way so I got my keys and just chilled out for about an hour or two in my car.

After my wait, I went to check the place out so I could start moving in. Walking up to the front door I was hit with a nasty stench. I proceeded to unlock and enter my unit. Upon entry, I saw one maintenance guy. Guess what he was doing? Wiping down the disgusting blinds and that is in fact all he did the whole two hours I waited. Which is kind of beyond belief because the blinds were still dirty. So much dirt, not dust, to the point where you could see it a mile a way. No joke.

Instantly I noticed missing parts in the floorboard throughout the whole kitchen/living room area. There was a leftover pizza box on the stained and dirty countertop with bugs on the counter and in the pizza box itself. Wall sockets not even in the wall throughout the whole unit and several huge holes in each bedroom and in the living room.

The bathroom was the worst part. The toilet was so clogged, the water was brown and yellow and gave off a deathly smell. The tub was stained with dirt because it clearly hasn’t been cleaned in God knows how long. The tiled floor being a mix of white and brown, brown color being dirt. Bugs and roaches literally crawling on the floor as I’m inspecting the rest of the unit.

Last but not least the A/C unit had feathers sticking out of it (sticking out to the point where I could grab them) and you could actively hear a bird trapped in the unit.

Needless to say, I didn’t even move in because I refused to lay my head down or bring my items into such filth. The leasing manager gave me a hard time as far as my refund goes until I mentioned I would be taking matters higher and planned on suing.

If you read all this please see that this is coming from the heart when I tell you to avoid this place at all cost. Be homeless before you give these people your money. Read More
