Pet-Friendly, Ample Parking, & Decent Size
The townhomes are in okay condition. Due to being in a rural-“city,” and not having that many units overall, there isn’t a maintenance staff to keep up with the overall upkeep of the units. Mine was relatively clean when I moved in, nothing atrocious, but it was clear that it was either a rushed job or a half-hearted attempt to get the unit ready for me to move into, which was a little disappointing. Holes in all of the closets, clear patchwork done on the walls, the deck has seen better days,... both exiting doors have peeling paint and the doorframes are clearly worn and not kept up with; so no deal breakers, but with it being a managed community, I did have higher expectations. It looks more like a landlord does the upkeep rather than a management company.
The buildings are older with minor renovations done on the inside. They do have washer and dryers on the grounds, but they are maintained through a different company that does not routinely service them, so some of them don’t work and others take your money and don’t even run a full cycle on it.
The two bedroom has plenty of space for one person but I would not recommend two adults living here unless you’re good with having to share everything. There’s ample parking which is a plus. They are pet friendly, and that is a rare find around here unfortunately.
Overall, I’ve definitely lived in worse kept places, but I’ve also gotten more for my money in other places. You can’t really beat its location though, so it’s somewhat worth the price.
