The Birches

I have lived in the same unit for 8 years now. It is a housing authority unit that I am responsible for all utilities plus my rent. Water,garbage,electric and gas. Most other apartments in and around my area pay water, sewer, and garbage. Also the maintenance people do not care about their tenants and do minimal work and do not adhere to tenant rights (coming into unit when ever with out notice). It is a quiet area with minimal if any disturbances which is a plus. I am grateful for a roof over... my head but fustrated by the rising cost and the lack of care and respect for the tenants. If I could afford to move I very definitely would but the rent and utilities for this unit make it hard to save money to do so. Read More
