This two-story single-family house spans around 1500 sqft and features a living room with a queen pull-out couch, dining area, and a fully stocked kitchen on the first floor. The first floor also includes a bedroom with a queen bed, a bathroom with a tub, and a laundry area. The loft area hosts another bedroom with a queen bed, a bath with a shower, and a desk and reading nook. The kitchen is equipped with appliances, cookware, silverware, basic condiments, and K-cup coffee and tea. Enjoy high-quality beddings and linens, an onsite washer and dryer, access to popular streaming TV services, and a wood-burning stove with firewood provided.
The regular nightly rate covers 4 guests, with additional guest fees of $25 per person per night, up to a maximum of 6 guests. The best way to explore Whidbey Island is by car.
You will hear jets flying by as the home is close to the Outlying Landing Field on Whidbey Island, where F-18s are stationed. Cell service is spotty, but enabling Wi-Fi calling and texting will help. The property has two separate houses, Rhododendron Loft and Island Hideaway, each with its own private entrance and no shared amenities. Strictly no parties or events, quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am, and no smoking or vaping of any kind anywhere on the property, including outdoor areas. A $500 fine applies per violation. The upstairs loft area includes a work-from-home space with a desk and reading nook. While the Wi-Fi is the fastest available on the island, it is suitable for most entertainment and light working needs.
