About Pend Oreille Apartments
The Pend Oreille Apartments provide the simplest of living and the small town feel because it is in a small town! The Pend Oreille Apartments are located in Metaline Falls, WA in Pend Oreille County, eighty-five miles north of Spokane, 45 miles from... Colville, WA and 50 miles north of Newport, WA. We are a short drive to Ione, WA, Priest Lake, ID, and Northport, WA. Section 8 Housing and Low Income persons are more than welcome to apply! There are 57 apartments on five floors with a full basement. All floors have elevator access and there are two stairways as well. The building contains 18 studio apartments, 29 one-bedroom apartments, and 10 two-bedroom units. Approximately half of the units are furnished. All units have new thermo-pane windows and electric wall heat allowing tenants to control how warm or cool they like their individual apartment. All apartments are wired for phone, cable TV and DSL internet. FREE internet is available to all tenants in the lobby area. RENTS INCLUDE ALL UTILITIES: this includes, water, sewer, garbage, electric and heat. Cable TV, phone and internet are available but are the tenant's responsibility. Information package available upon request.
There is a large coin-operated laundry facility in the basement and is open 24/7 for tenant convenience. Tenant parking is provided on the street and in a lot adjacent to the apartments. The Pend Oreille Apartments have a full-time on-site manager to assist tenants in any of their needs. These units are very large with big bedrooms, one full bath per apartment, big living room area, and a separate dining area. The kitchens are small but adequate. Beautiful Views, Super Clean
Classic and cozy, this building is a gem. Well maintained and the Super is responsive. Easy to get to town. Reasonable price..

Cautions Advised - Touring? Look INSIDE and UNDER things.
Tile entry is about the only decent floor in the place. It feels like you're touring a condemend building. Weird smells. The dingy apartments feature cracking, flaking, peeling, leaking, ceilings, walls, floors, busted up blinds, extremely old and worn industrial type bathroom fixtures, appliances are very old or very cheap. Doors are shaved so that they close which is an indication that the century old building is shifted considerably. Nice views except the front which stares at a hulking... abandonded cement factory. I read "warning" review about condition of this building by one of the previous maintenance people. If you don't earn 3X the rent, you will need HUD to qualify. When you inquire of locals about the building you might notice a change in their generally friendly demeanor kind of stiffens and words are chosen cautiously. Look around reeeeeal good before moving into this one.

Dumpsville
This place is a complete “DUMP” loaded with mice, bats, and bees of all kinds. There website is completely a farce, not true to what this place really is. Nothing is ever taken care of if you mention something that needs fixin’ you get put on an eviction list, “YIKES” renter or buyer beware!

apts are great
They have everything you need. They have an elementary school right across the street which is convenient for those with pre-5 graders. Its in town which has a grocery store, post office, even a movie theatre awesome! The refrigerators could be updated. Some things in the refrigerator freeze. Also we have kids that are trying to sleep and it gets a little noisy but the kids get used to it. Also its too bright you might want to buy a blackout curtain when you move here. Other than than its great....
