I signed the lease site unseen since I was moving to Seattle from out of the area. The building is nice enough, somewhat plain and without fluff, but it provides the essential functions of an apartment building. The office staff has been pleasant enough, being helpful a few times when necessary. But despite these things, I really wish I was aware of the location prior to moving in. My apartment sits right on top of a busy street that is near I-5, multiple hospitals, late-night bars, and downtown... Seattle. With this comes two serious annoyances: noise and crime. I am awoken every night several time by sirens and speeding cars going up the street. And there are consistently dozens of dirty homeless people and druggies hanging around withing a block or two of the building. On the block and even inside the parking garage there are frequently cars broken into and bicycles stolen. My recommendation is to find something else that is close by but not so centralized and busy. Read More
