Very last resort option only, disaster rental property

Horrible management, terrible quality building, tries to enforce ridiculous rules, roach infestation and generally poor quality and low in cleanliness. Rent anywhere else.

The rules are standard for most apartment complexes and they are made available and agreed to by all tenants before moving in. It is not ridiculous to enforce a rule that tenants may not use an fire door exit, which sets off an alarm, except in the... event of an emergency. Beyond being a rule violation, it was inconsiderate to fellow tenants as they were disturbed by repeated false alarms.

Cockroaches

Big cockroach infestation. This was the worst place I've ever lived. Management does nothing over the bugs. Apartment was dirty when I moved in. I spent a month scrubbing down all the surfaces and they still didn't come clean. Food crumbs jammed into every crack in the kitchen covered in terrible contact paper. Laundry room is coin and very sketchy and often only has 1 working machine. Building smelled weird. Is "gated" but the gate is never shut. Neighborhood is very sketchy. Don't let the... "cheap" rent fool you.

The apartment complex has always retained the services of licensed pest control technicians which come out on a regular basis. To keep the apartments roach free, it requires tenants to report any activity that they see so that we may schedule their... treatment at no added cost to the tenant. For the treatment to be as effective as possible, there are preparations that tenants are asked to do. Maintaining a pest free community is good for everyone.
