Don't Say You Weren't Warned
I've lived here for several years, and this building has gone downhill.
Management is disorganized. Recent lease renewal information was sent late and incomplete, and included housing cost increases that do not appear to follow Seattle's 180-day notice requirement. Communication overall has been inconsistent and not handled professionally.
There is a high level of vacancy--roughly 13 out of 62 units at present--which reflects what's going on in the building.
The environment around the... building has noticably deteriorated. There is frequent trash, unsanitary conditions and concerning activity right outside the entrances. There have also been car break-ins in the area. This is not occasional -- it has become part of the day-to-day experience.
At this price point, the building is not well managed and does not feel stable. I would strongly recommend visiting in person and spending time around the property before signing a lease.
