AVOID IF POSSIBLE.

This place is completely messed up by the incompetent management. They made this place unsafe, irresponsible, inefficient and full of scam charges.

Safety: Mailbox are breached. Unauthorized persons can enter the building. Packages in the mailroom are tampered and stolen. The mailroom is like a carnival for theft. The management team is completely okay for that.

Efficiency: Wifi is constantly down for the past year. Fire alarms regularly ring, even at midnight.

Charges:… (1) utility bills are split based on usage of the entire /building/ (I double checked this with the billing service). You have to pay the water and electricity for the others and for the public even if you don't live in your room. (2) over-charge move out fee: they do a flat rate regardless of the condition of the unit. That fee is ridiculously high and comes from no where. They refuse to provide any invoice, detailed breakdown or photographic evidence of their cleaning service to support their claim. Basically it's the last scam before you leave the place.

This property is still running very likely because they use the money from current residents to make aggressive ads and lure in new unsuspecting students. Stay away and avoid a miserable life. Read More

Please from a former tenant, do not consider Trailside student living. Most if not all of the positive reviews are a result of essentially paying for reviews. Upon moving in, the WIFI was down for 2 months without compensation, the front desk stopped accepting packages for tenants within the first month because it was too much for them (they wanted us to pay for external services to receive our packages), resulting in constant stolen packages, the units do not come with AC, constant fire alarms… at all times of day and night (they charge you if you do manage to set it off), lackluster amenities which can be down for months at a time with no timeline for them being fixed (gym, expresso machine, elevators, only 1 working grill on the rooftop that was a coinflip to whether it would actually work), and hidden fees that they will not hesitate to charge. I appreciated the maintenance staff as they were friendly, but the management along with front desk workers were overall just incompetent and incapable of handling simple requests or questions.
