The Quarry

When I first toured, I asked about the fitness center hours and was told by the manager, not just some front desk person, the actual manager, that if I was in there before it closed, no one was gonna bother me and kick me out right at 11pm. Well that was a lie because the security guard came sharp at 11. Instead of protecting our garages, as mine personally was thieved twice in under 2 years (see other reviews), they're making sure no one is getting a workout in past 11.

Not only that, I was... initially applying for a 3rd floor unit, and was told by management "sorry we only have 4th floor available, the 3rd floor unit just happened to fill up that day". While I saw it vacant for the next 3 months and even knocked on the door multiple times to check, so I was clearly lied to so they could just fill a 4th floor unit.

The real kicker is that within a week of me moving out, they made repairs. But, 3 months later they decided they actually wanted the money for those repairs, not a week or a month after they did them. 3 months later, likely when they are looking at their current budget and looking for any attempt to penny pinch, they're now coming after former tenants. Not only that, while the lease states specific prices for replacement parts, they chose more expensive parts than listed in the lease and charging me for it.

So far, my review has focused on the experience with management. However, the actual unit itself was also very poorly built, with the windows being incredibly drafty. They also said that the living room AC would be sufficient to cool the bedroom with the door closed during summer, and that was another lie. After all, their bedrooms have a port to insert an AC unit, because they knew when they built it, that the AC wouldn't be sufficient, but management will tell whatever lies they need to, in order to fill a unit.

The Quarry is managed by MCC management, and I'd advise staying away from them and the properties they manage. A couple I can remember are:

I would strongly caution anyone considering living here. After moving out, I was hit with inflated and inconsistent charges that went far beyond normal wear and tear. When I asked for invoices or receipts to prove these costs, they admitted they could not provide them. This kind of billing feels predatory and deceptive, especially when tenants are not given transparent documentation to back up what they’re being charged. I am currently disputing these charges, and in my experience this property... management company does not act in good faith with tenants once you leave. These apartments while looking very nice and new on the outside are so terribly built on the inside and have no proper insulation inside. During the summers all you have is a little AC unit in the living room which does nothing. The apartments are built using cheap materials so things are easy to break which is what they want so they can take even more money from you on top of the ridiculous $650 non refundable deposit. The staff are nice but are the most unhelpful people you will ever deal with... , maintenance are the only actual helpful people. The office staff are extremely childish and unprofessional and only care about getting money from you. They also set unrealistic living standards and demand that you don’t do certain things in your own apartment. When it comes time to move out they take as much money as they can from you, and they are always raising the rent. Do NOT live here. They get you with the updated nice looking apartments but read the fine print or they will take you for every penny you have. Horrible management in place and extremely greedy. I moved out of state almost 4 months ago and they are just now coming after me for charges saying the apartment was dirty and damaged. I payed over $400 to get it cleaned and fixed up before I moved out so they are 100% lying. They also refused to let me join the walk through, shocker. Do NOT live here.

Quiet, clean, and tranquil to live here. Neighbors keep at nice, and courteous. I love to use the gym after grabbing the free coffee provided, yum! The clubhouse, and barbecue area such a cool space to host a party. Excited for the sun to come out to get back to barbecues, and more dips in the swimming pool. Quarry team stays super friendly, supportive, and ready to address any concerns that may arise. Much love, and appreciation calling Quarry our home.
