Ruby Suites

We lived here for a little over three months when we first moved to Spokane while we waited to find more permanent housing, and we LOVED it! The building and interior are all beautiful. It has great amenities as well! It has fully furnished apartments, a small gym, a really nice rooftop deck area with great seating and lounging options, and a basement with games and a movie theater room. Ruby Suites is also in a great location close to the heart of downtown Spokane. While the safety of the… surrounding area can often be questionable, I never felt unsafe living at Ruby Suites. The building has keyed entry access only, security cameras in the parking lot and inside the building, and also a security guard that keeps an eye on the parking lot at night.

I searched for weeks for short-term housing before moving here, and this is the very best option out of them all. There aren’t many apartments here in Spokane that offer short-term leases and definitely none as nice as Ruby Suites with the amenities they provide. It’s definitely a little pricier than just a normal 1 bed 1 bath unfurnished apartment in town on a 1 year lease, but it’s great for people who just need something short-term while waiting for a more affordable permanent housing situation. There are some long-term residents I know of though that have lived at Ruby Suites for years.

As a person who travels all the time for work, I rely on reading reviews for finding, and aiding me in selecting the best temporary housing options in various cities across the country during my temporary work assignments.

I was recently assigned to a project in Spokane, WA, and was fortunate enough to find the Ruby Suites as an option.

I stayed at Ruby Suites from January 4 -April 16, 2021, and I can truly say that I could not have asked for a better place to call home for those 15 or so… weeks.

First of all, this place is impeccable. Could not be any cleaner. The building & furnishings are in top notch condition. Very nicely appointed.

The Ruby Suites have absolutely everything you need. Just bring your suitcase, and you’re home.

The location is great. There are unlimited restaurant choices in the immediate vicinity. There are even two restaurants that you can access without even leaving the building. I found Yoke’s Fresh Foods to be an excellent grocery store that is close by – and I found that Yoke’s has an outstanding deli & “ready-to go section” (even fresh Sushi).

The place is secure. It has 24 hour carded access. There is security posted in the parking lot overnight.

Housekeeping does a wonderful job (on an assigned day – weekly).

It is close to GEG airport.

There are so many amenities within the building. They thought of everything when they planned this place. There is even a rooftop patio area if you like to get some sun.

Some will like that you get your own assigned mailbox, and your own phone/phone number for your Suite.

Management (Sheryl & Patty) run a VERY tight ship, and I will be hard pressed to find another place like this again in my travels.

If you are looking for a beautiful apartment as you transition to a new home or while you are going to school, then look no further! I just spent a little over 4 months at Ruby Suites after selling my home and waiting for my new home to be completed. The apartment was so comfortable and had everything I needed. All I had yo bring was my clothes, and of course my cat. Yes, they are pet friendly. The staff is amazing! They are so friendly and helpful.. The building is very secure and clean.… For those who like to work out they have a small gym. They follow strict guidelines to deal with Covid which should alleviate any concerns you might have. The property is very nice- decorated nicely and very clean. The staff are wonderful! Very helpful and pleasant. They go out of their way to assist. This is our second time here for a few months between houses and they made it super easy. Bring your clothes and toothbrush and you are set. Easy to walk to restaurants. Beautiful area to walk through Gonzaga or by the river or downtown. Also, if you haven’t tried outdoor dining at Osprey ( in the Ruby hotel by the river- same owner) you… absolutely must!
