The M Apartments

After renting the most expensive apartment for a year, we left Spokane and the apartment in spotless shape. Scott the office manager even commented that the whole apartment was clean. To our surprise, $200 was then subtracted from our deposit for "carpet shampooing" which should really be a practice and hence paid for by the apartment complex (BTW when I took over the lease of the apartment it was dusty and filthy). I did not receive proof that the carpet was then shampooed.

Fleecing a... customer who cared enough to clean the apartment shouldn't be in any apartment business plan (can't blame this on the COVID virus). Attempts to get answers from the office staff only led to non-response which is why I am publicly expressing my frustration. We have a beautiful space, corner unit with floor to ceiling windows and fantastic morning light. The building just opened a year ago so everything works and is contemporary. The new property manager, Kelli, is fantastic; very accommodating and responsive. The roof has to be one of the best outdoor spaces in Spokane. Best of all is downtown living. The M is perfectly located to all the best parts of downtown Spokane. Terribly managed, cheaply built, over priced. I could only stand to live here a few months before terminating my lease early because it was so awful. Took 2 months for someone to even look at my maintenance issues and they still aren’t fixed. Leasing manager is extremely rude. While moving in a maintenance guy told me the painters dumped paint down all the sinks in the building. I don’t have 1 good thing to say about this place. My experience was awful.
