Stinky
The location is convenient, but the building has a lot of downsides. It’s right next to I-5, so it can get pretty noisy. The property seems to be an old hotel converted into studio apartments, and the kitchen setup is not great for actual cooking. There’s no proper exhaust vent, and the microwave fan just blows the air toward the ceiling, which easily triggers the smoke alarm, especially if you’re searing or frying anything.
The hallways also have a strong odor because they’re carpeted, and you... can smell everyone’s cooking or whatever is happening in other rooms. Unfortunately, management also doesn’t seem to have much control over people smoking inside their units, and the smell carries throughout the building.
Not to mention the occasional dog poop left on the stairs or carpet by irresponsible pet owners that never clean up after their dogs.
