Willowick Apartments

Lived here for a decade! Cops are always called. They refuse to put locked main doors to our buildings. I’ve seen strangers sleeping in our hallways and sitting around charging their phones. Our safety is NOT a priority. They told me to call the cops. What if something happens to me or my family as I come or go from my place? Then what?! The office said it was too expensive to replace the doors and make keys…but they rather use their $ to replace all parking lots and give us new grass etc…No... pool now because it was “too expensive” to maintain. Hallways and even my place smells like marijuana all of the time. You can tell people not to smoke but they are still going to. Rent goes up $100 or more a year and we have nothing to enjoy with it like the pool we had! The way the rent increases is unfair too. I pay the same as my neighbor who has a pet fee and I’ve lived here longer. This place isn’t even worth what they are charging me for. Even my doors are falling apart! They are short staffed with maintenance workers so things don’t get fixed for a while around here. My kitchen sinks got clogged and I was told by “J” to use my bathroom tub and they will call for maintenance the next day, yet didn’t ask for my building or apartment # and just hung up. Like rude! Washer and dryer are always breaking down which you also have to pay for. Quarters are just waisted after finding out the machines don’t even work and they don’t give them back. Now we have to register our pets through PerScreening and rabies shots are required! Even if you have a family member who comes and visits once in a while, you have to register their pets. It’s ridiculous. I understand for your pets but why others who don’t even come often? Pick some place else that offers more, even if you pay a little extra. Especially a place that takes safety as a priority and doesn’t treat you like a number. A place that isn’t only focusing on collecting rent every month but making it a better place! They also charge for water and trash now. I thought that was only for people who owned houses?! Crazy!

If you want to live in a place for cheap great, but you have to deal with the most asinine neighbors, building almost burnt down, upstairs neighbors walking around the apartment all hours of the day, noise complaints go nowhere

Do not waste your time renting here. This company doesn't care about the tenants they have. All they care about is the money they collect. The managers at the willowick office are useless. All they do is talk and babysit kids at the office. Not doing anything to help their tenants with the issues they have at their unit or complex. Im still waiting for the money they owe me. No one calls you back and I have proof that they owe me this money. But still no one calls you back and I'm sure I won't... see my money. It’s in a safe area- pipes are loud- must be ok with the smell of weed at all hours- communication around rent payment is awful (they gave a written warning that we didn’t pay when we had our receipt)- I’ve lived here for two years and i would move back here when I come back to WI

Apt is awesome, peaceful n quiet. Its also so comfort zone when I come home from work.
