Luxury Price for Average Quality

I have lived at Halfway Creek Apartments for about a year. The apartments are located in a great area of Holmen. Holmen doesn't have a lot of to-dos for a twenty something, but what Holmen does have is close. The apartments are nice but small. The grounds are well kept and in the winter snow is removed in a timely manner. Parking is an issue and many residents are forced to park on the street, as there does not seem to be enough garages and/or parking spaces for all residents. The garages... are an extra $50 a month and in my opinion worth it. There is a waiting list for garage stalls. The common room is very nice. There is also a small gym and a few laundry machines. The apartment unfortunately are very inefficient. This is the smallest apartment I have ever lived in based on sqft, yet it was the most expensive to heat. The windows are mostly single pane glass (even with plastic over them they let in a lot of cold air), the exterior doors are cheap and not properly weather stripped and I imagine they went cheap on the insulation in the walls as well. Rent is about $100 too high in my opinion for what you get. If you live here, make it short stay. I just bought a home and my mortgage escrow will be less than my rent at Halfway Creek Apartments.
