no major complaints

Mgmt is compassionate and attentive. Good sound quality. I rarely hear my neighbors. Grounds are well kept. Near a lot of shopping. Would’ve given 5 stars but maintenance is understaffed and slow. Apts are new so gratefully any maintenance needed is minor.

It's Okay

As someone who has been living here for about 3.5 months I would say the place is nothing special. The price of rent is a little high for what you get.

As you see other reviews, the walls are thin and you will be able to hear your neighbors at night. The parking situation is terrible. Basically get home late and there is no parking. Park out in the back if there is not a spot. I saw people checking cars multiple nights back there. Not to mention the Towing price is also threw the roof. Parked… in the 30 minute parking overnight because I saw people checking car doors and boom $300 because I did not want my car getting broking into. Plus cars park in handicaps, on side of street, fire lane, and in the 30 minute parking all the time and do not get towed. $75 a month for under ground parking is a lot. They could reduce the cost of that to $40 to $50 and I bet a lot of people would pay that. They could also take to the business behind them and ask about parking in their lots because they are never full and are a waste of area. The outdoors area are a bonus.

Pool is great and the grill area is nice. Workout area is small but not to shabby.

Overall, not bad but not great. Staff is wonderful but parking is a big negative for me.

There was a lot to wade through in your very honest feedback, but it’s nice to know that the community itself gets a thumbs up from you. Thank you for that positive assessment. The parking issue is definitely a concern at times, one in… which we too often have too little control. Besides the limitations of the surface parking, we are also tightly regulated by the State of WI. So there’s often not much relief there. We’d like to suggest that you stop by the office to discuss the issue with us. We might have a couple of interesting alternatives for you. And please, always report any criminal activity you’re aware of. If we are not aware, we can’t help.

Parking

Everything day I come back from work I could not find parking, THERE IS NO PARKING, that’s my issue every single day with this apartments. People Parked outside in the streets and walk all the way to the building. However that all and the building still not full yet, we live outside of Madison and must of apartment give me free indoor parking with that high price of rent we pay for this apartment.

*And if you have visitors or so, good luck, let the park In Costco and you bring them to the… building because probably they will get towing, parking only for residents and event the residents could not have one, they force you to pay $75 for indoor parking since towing company will take your car if you park in street or somewhere, I just pay $370 for towing company to get my car back.

From now I will write a comment every time I could not find a parking.

The building is nice and people who work in the office are wonderful and helpful.

Thank you for taking the time leave us your understandably frustrated feedback on our parking situation. We believe honesty is the best policy, and thus we always take the time to fully explain our unique parking issues to everyone considering… an apartment in our Elevate community. We basically have two sources of parking available. Our surface lot with general parking available is always free, but we can’t guarantee space unless you rent a numbered and reserved space in our underground garage. Plus our team never tows from the street since it’s the City who monitors that parking activity because it's a public road. We only enforce towing in our own lot. We're doing our best to formulate creative new solutions for everyone desiring expanded parking but that's still relegated to sometime in the future. For the moment, our door is always open and we're happy to talk to you about your situation. Everyone knows that wintertime in the Midwest it is a game changer so you may want to discuss your specific situation with us soon. We do appreciate you as a resident, we hear your frustration and we’ll do all we can to help.

Very thin walls

I've lived here for about 2 months and I can tell you the walls are very thin. I hear the AC unit going of my neighbors and I've complained about it and they haven't done anything about it. Don't think you'll have less noise by paying the extra fee they charge to live on the top floor because I live on the top floor and the noise is just as bad. The location is good but this isn't a place I'd recommend if you're looking for a quiet place to live.

Apartment is great, but......

The apartment itself is nice and modern. The amenities are wonderful and kept clean. The complex is proactive in getting the kinks sorted out with being a new building. But the sound proof in the apartments is not the best, I can hear a lot of what my neighbors do when they do anything over a regular noise level. So loud talking, slamming of doors, heavy walking, you will hear it all. Especially when they have company over I can almost hear their conversations word for word. The trash situation… is a whole other issue thats getting figured out slowly. Can't put large boxes or certain items down the trash chute and recyclable chute, but the extra dumpsters that they have to put them in are either full or not in the trash area at all.
