I highly recommend to you NOT to do business with S.C. Swiderski. Not only is the staff extremely rude [I had to call several times before I was able to talk to anyone, even after leaving messages], but they scam people out of their deposit checks. I leased from their County Meadows/Jackson Estates apartments this summer for two months and, not only did I have to pay the $85 carpet cleaning fee that permanent residents had to pay, but I was charged $20 an hour for three hours for not having... cleaned the apartment to par. I did clean extensively before I left and because I lived alone, had never even thought about using the dishwasher. However, it was listed on the “parts I forgot to clean” along with the stovetop, which I had not used either; I only used the oven when it came to the stove.
S.C. Swiderski is a terrible business and I hope you will spread the word to others about this terrible company. Not only do they have terrible customer service, but they also swindle their tenants. There are alternatives to renting in Merrill including Park City Apartments and Lincoln Heights apartments. Please look elsewhere before considering either the County Meadows or Jackson Estates apartments, and make sure if you do to take extensive photos both before and after moving dates. Read More
