One Month In and Not Impressed
We have lived at Brownstone for 1 month so far. When we toured the apartment, it was vacant and it was vacant for 2 months before we moved in. There were several issues we pointed out during our tour that we were told would be fixed prior to us moving in, however none of these issues were. Upon move-in we requested these issues fixed.
After 11 days we were called by a Steve Brown Apartments employee who told us maintenance would call within 1-2 business days to arrange a time to fix these... issues, we were not contacted by maintenance at all.
12 days after this I emailed Property Staff and asked when our issues would be addressed. We were told maintenance staff would arrive that exact day to begin work. No maintenance or property staff arrived at our apartment. It has now been one month and we are not expecting any issues to be resolved in a timely manner and can only hope that the remainder of our time here is without as many issues. It is a lovely apartment in a nice location, but that is not enough for us, we expect things to be fixed in a timely manner, or our time respected, or to not be lied to or strung along.
Edit: after posting this review, management reached out to schedule a time and date for maintenance to come fix all items. One week later and we were ghosted by maintenance once again, marking the fourth time in one month we were promised repairs and nothing happened.
