A Total Nightmare: Unresponsive Management, Constant Issues, and Unfulfilled Promises
My experience here was incredibly frustrating and a total nightmare from start to finish. The property is poorly maintained, management is completely inept, and the living conditions are far below what was promised.
The exterior of the property was a constant mess. The entire building was surrounded by mud and overgrown grass, making it impossible to walk around. We were forced to cross a dangerous frontage road just to let our pets out, which was especially unsafe at night. It was clear that... the property was neglected, and no effort was made to address these basic issues. And when brought up she a knowledge the issues and offered no solutions.
The property manager was a complete non-entity. She seemed to have no idea what she was doing and was completely unprepared for the role. It took her two weeks just to attempt to help us with a critical issue—the mail. For weeks, we couldn't receive any mail or packages because the address wasn't properly validated. I had to personally call the postmaster to get the issue resolved. This lack of basic competence and responsiveness was a consistent problem throughout my lease, which was only 2 months.
The noise levels were unbearable. The side of the building facing the highway was so loud that it sounded like we were living next to a racetrack. And the noise from above you was so loud and constant. Opening windows or using the patio was impossible due to the constant, overwhelming noise. Inside the building, there was a persistent, awful smell on the second floor that never went away. Adding to the unsanitary conditions, residents would often let their dogs relieve themselves in the elevator and just leave it.
One of the biggest disappointments was the complete lack of promised amenities. Despite being a major selling point, zero amenities were ever made available. When we complained, we were told that they "are not a guaranteed part of the lease." It was obvious that the management's only priority was to rush the second building's construction to get more residents in, while completely neglecting the existing tenants.
I would strongly advise anyone considering Red Earth to look elsewhere. The unlivable conditions, broken promises, and incompetent management make this a place to avoid at all costs. I broke my lease and moved out after 2 months.
