High Quality Apartment Living!

I recently moved out of Prairie Crest because I bought a home, but after a wonderful stay I cannot say enough good things about this community. With four separate buildings spread across the property there is an abundance of green space that gives it a peaceful and open feel you rarely find in apartment living. It genuinely feels like a little getaway right in the heart of Verona. The pricing is extremely fair for what you get and the management team was always professional, responsive and… genuinely cared about making residents feel at home. If you are looking for a quality apartment community in the Verona area, Prairie Crest is absolutely the place to be!

5/5 RECOMMEND!!

Prairie Crest has truly impressed me from day one. The community is immaculate, the amenities are excellent, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. But what really sets Prairie Crest apart is the management team. Isaac is absolutely awesome. He’s responsive, friendly, genuinely cares about resident satisfaction, and goes out of his way to help with any concerns. The maintenance staff is equally impressive, they’re incredibly quick to address work orders and take pride in keeping the property… in top shape. Every interaction I’ve had has been professional and efficient. If you’re looking for an apartment community with outstanding management and maintenance, Prairie Crest is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Many issues

I had a lot of problems when I lived here.

I wasn't even allowed in my apartment for the first week due to "repairs" I was not notified of until after I signed my lease, then they still had the gall to ask me to pay for utilities used during that window where I wasn't allowed in and hadn't set up an account for yet.

When I had issues with my fridge and they replaced it, they instead replaced it with some used old thing they took from somewhere else and never bothered to clean it beforehand. It… was filthy and I cleaned it myself. The AC unit was also black with mold and stunk. Make sure to check your fans for black stuff.

They then also took a big chunk out of my security deposit citing things that were already pre-existing in the unit.

No security deposit back

Last October they gave out free stuff to anyone who left a 5 star review which is why Oct 2021 has so many fake 5 stars You can spend 30 hours cleaning and make everything spotless and they will still take all your money. It's a great apartment to live in as long as you are willing to pay a $600 deposit you will never see again. They will make up stains that are not there or charge you for stains the previous renters made and ignore your move in report you fill out.

Application Issue

I applied to live here and was told there were no other applications for the apartment so mine would have first choice. I was told I’d hear back in three days. After a week I was told I’d hear back in a few more days. This went on a few more times, each time I contacted them. Finally after 3 weeks I was told the apartment was rented. When I mentioned that I was told no one has applied, they let me know there was a “mix-up”. I can’t speak to how living here is, but my experience seemed dodgy at… best.
