Avoid at All Costs – Terrible Management and Constant Issues
Living at this property was one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had.
It started with a bait-and-switch. I toured and signed a lease for a specific unit, only to be told right before move-in that it was “no longer available due to a remodel.” They reassigned me to another unit that was completely unprepared for move-in. It had multiple issues including non-functioning lights, drawers with no handles, one bathroom without a vanity, missing closet doors, and a broken AC unit. I reported... all of this immediately and followed up regularly over the course of a year. None of it was ever fixed, despite repeated maintenance requests and conversations.
The property manager is a challenge. She rarely responds to messages, forgets previous conversations, and when you do get a hold of her, she’s snarky and dismissive. There’s no accountability or professionalism, and trying to resolve even basic issues turns into a frustrating and pointless cycle.
Be extremely cautious about the rent cost. The advertised price is nowhere near what you’ll actually pay. They tack on a bunch of micro-fees that are never mentioned during the showing or initial conversations. Only once the lease is in front of you do you see the full cost — and even then, it’s not clearly explained. Read every line carefully and ask for a full breakdown before signing anything.
The worst part came at move-out. Management and ownership attempted to keep my security deposit using false claims of early termination and unpaid rent — despite the fact I had a signed move-out agreement and provided copies of all cashed checks. Even with proof in hand, they continued to push back and deny reality until I mentioned getting a lawyer involved. Only then did they begin to engage in a reasonable conversation.
Unless you are absolutely desperate for housing, I urge you to look elsewhere. This place is poorly run, unresponsive, and borderline predatory in how it treats its tenants.
If you do decide to move in:
Keep copies of everything — they will claim to lose documents.
Never pay in cash — they won’t “have a record.”
Document every maintenance issue and communication — you’ll need it later.
This property is not just a hassle — it’s a liability. Avoid it if you value your time, your money, and your sanity.
