They totally ripped me off. I cleaned my apartment spotless with the intention of getting my deposit back. The carpet was steam cleaned before i left and had zero stains. They still charged me for steam cleaning the carpets and other nonsense items that where not itemized. They took my entire deposit. Also, while i was living there. My washer broke on 2 seperate occasions. The 1st time it took 2.5 weeks to get fixed and the next time it took over a week. They did not compensate me for… nothing. I live with my daughter Brittany Horan (Caton). We've lived here since February 7th. This complex is very clean, quiet, and the neighbors are friendly. We're on 3rd floor w balcony. Close to restaurants and stores etc. We've never had any problems. I would recommend these apartments to anyone! The office manager also is a tenant and keeps us informed through flyers and monthly newsletter. I'm a retiree with limited income and health issues so winning this would be a blessing! Thank you

I am an 85 year old woman on a fixed income. My husband died several years ago and I needed to downsize as I could not afford to stay in my home and also care for the outside and general maintenance. I moved several places but then my friend helped me on the internet find Stony Point for me. I wanted to remain in Martinsburg, close to friends and my doctors. I am living in a first floor apartment and LOVE it. The building is well maintained,very safe and well lit. It has a home-like atmosphere… and everyone in the building is helpful to me (neighbors helping neighbors).The apartment is close to many conveniences- shopping, gas, doctor, etc. and that makes it easy for me. The apartment itself is warm, inviting and elegant with all the necessities of home and space that my home had. I enjoy the patio and sitting out there greeting and conversing with my neighbors. I try to be the "Welcome Wagon" of the community.I was very lucky to find an apartment that offered all the qualities of a home without maintaining it myself.Beverley, the manager, has been helpful and sent me a letter about how nice I was as a tenant and helping others. I love all the various ages groups at the complex, as I consider myself a "youthful" 85 year old and attempt to remain very social with them. I have recommended this establishment to many people that are looking for an apartment or should I say "a home".
