Surprise Storage Ideas for Small Spaces Part 5: Bathroom

Surprise Storage Ideas for Your Bathroom- By guest blogger Tim Eyre Small bathroomSince the floor space in apartment bathrooms is often at a premium, make your walls go to work for you. Mount a shelf above the door frame as a high perch for spare towels, surplus toiletries, and extra toilet paper. For the convenience of a vanity cabinet when you’ve got a wall-mount sink, add a floating shelf just below the drainpipe; you can stow baskets of toiletries, towels, and cleaning supplies down here. Got a blank wall? Hang three or four stylish towel bars, one above the other, with about a foot between them. Secure several square or rectangular baskets from the rods using black plastic cable ties. The baskets are useful for holding hand towels and washcloths, small sundries, toilet paper, and magazines. With some creative storage ideas, it’s possible to utilize a small living space to the fullest, without compromising the ability to host friends and family or keep the items on hand that you desire. Tim Eyre works in the self storage industry, regularly traveling to see locations like San Jose storage facility. In many locations, like the storage units yard in San Diego, Tim helps his customers store seasonal equipment when it is not being used for outdoor activities or home improvement projects.
