Tanglewood Apartments

I have been on the property a few months now and I love it! It is a very quiet complex. There are never tons of people outside, other than the occasional few you see on their own balconies. Neighbors are friendly but for the most part keep to themselves which is a plus. I have never seen any police called to property and from what I hear there have not been in a very long time. Other than the officer who lives on site! He is very friendly and walks the property every night insuring that there is... nothing suspicious going on. I feel very safe here! I have been living at Tanglewood for about the past 5 years and I have no Complaints. Tanglewood is Safe, Quiet, and Management is always very Courteous!! Tanglewood’s location is right in the Middle of town close to everything but the Property is off the Highway and feels Secluded which is nice. Tanglewood has a nice size Swimming Pool and a Small Playground for kids. Tanglewood also provides a Courtesy Police Officer to keep their Tenants extra Safe!! Thanks Tanglewood !!

The first year of residency was pretty OK they kept the grounds nice and clean they did inspections, pest control, and the apartment manager and maintenance seemed like they cared about the residents and enjoyed what that did. There were clubhouse events and a newsletter sent out monthly and kept the residents very informed of any changes. Since then the last three years we lived there it got worse and worse. Understanding that there was a pandemic and not much could be done as far as the inside... of the apartments*

There was a leak.
The unit that I was in had black mold on the interiors of the walls where the Ac unit is placed. (Behind the panel) I don’t know much about construction but cutting out a small portion of the wall and replacing it (still poorly ) is not taking care of the issue. When the current manager came to the property I reached out to get new carpet because I had several floods and my lease was due for renewal. I asked for replacement carpet rather than a kitchen blender, thinking that was the better option for myself and my young child. There hadn’t been/ was no get up and go for most issues and there was NO communication. We had no complaints from our peers that we know of and if so the older residents would only be kind to help out. But they were not rude. 4 years came to an end and it was sad that there was no professionalism in handling the oldies like us. Good residents.

As far as the layout of the 2br apartment it was ideal for us. We liked our space but they only care about filling new units up and pushing people out. A paint job won’t fix the issues at Tanglewood Apartments. Read More

May will be one year that my family and I have been living here. I’ve had issues with my apartment flooding and the air conditioner not working. It took them three tries and many days without air before they were able to get it to fixed. About 1 month ago, I called the after hours number to let them know that my apartment have flooded. I was assured that maintenance would come out to fix the issue. After 3 to 4 hour waiting on someone to show or contact me. I decided to call a plumber myself... to get the busted pipes fixed. Monday, March 1 called called and told the Lisa that I had a leak in the kitchen. She says that maintenance wasn’t there today but will be out on Tuesday. No one ever showed!
