Multiple safety violations and won’t return deposit
Do not move into these apartments! We have been moved out for 60 days on the dot and management has been ignoring my requests to return my security deposit that they are trying to hold onto because they sent in a cleaning crew before we returned the key and our lease was over. They won’t answer the phone or on the rare occasion that they do they say they’ll call me back and then just send an email instead. It has been the worst experience. We moved in while I was pregnant, and we dealt with many... safety issues. They renovated our apartment and when we moved in there was a couple drops of dried blood on the walls. There was water coming up through the floors that took them months to figure out. The AC unit was not on a stand and was sitting on two boards. One of which was split down the middle. There was no filter on the AC and it was sucking in mold. (We found out about this while in the hospital with a newborn.) The maintenance people seemed clueless about these issues when we told them. They never fixed them. There are hot electrical wires sticking out of the wall directly next to a water pipe. So we risked being electrocuted while using the water. The closet doors kept falling off and their “repairs” never worked. The cabinet underneath the sink was rotted out from a leak. There was what seemed to be tobacco streaks dripping down from the ceiling and walls every time we used the tub. All of the drains would clog constantly and maintenance never fixed it. You can’t ever go swimming because the pool is always being damaged by residents. It was closed early for the season. Our mailbox was broken and never fixed, or at least a new key was never given to us.
