Non Problem Solving
I was sent information and applied for a certain unit. I paid security deposit , set up power and renters insurance paid in full , change of address , bought furniture , cancelled storage etc. for my move. 2 days prior to my move in I receive a email stating my specific unit was ADA and missing cabinets and drawers. I was given the option to continue with unit or another unit with less material amenities then the one applied for ( sunroom ). Communication was given via email , no one even called... . I called and kept receiving email responses until I called again to get someone. Once I spoke with rep she had no other accommodation for me. I asked when the next available for my unit layout would be and she advised would be mid August but would be $25 more a month and no way to change it to what I was renting my unit for. All she could tell me is “ well you didn’t sign anything yet “ but ya’ll took my money. This has placed me in a horrible position as I now need to find somewhere to stay in less than 24 hrs if I do not hear back from the property management team. I do understand mistakes happen but not accommodating me for your mistake is bad business. I was so excited to be staying here. Now I will have to pay more application fees and start over.
