Canterbury Gardens

Canterbury Gardens are leased by JH Berry, a company that owns a number of apartment complexes throughout Birmingham. Canterbury Garden apartments are quaint, but older. My two bed/1 bath townhouse is nice. Wooden floors throughout with the exception of the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is tiny, but the rest of the apartment is spacious. The location is great and safe. Across the street is the Botanical Gardens and you are in walking distance to the Zoo and the shops and restaurants in... Mountain Brook Village.
My only complaints is that there is only one AC unit for the apartment but in the summer, the upstairs gets rather hot and only one of the bedrooms has a ceiling fan. Also, it is hard to contact the staff at times, but when they do call back, they are very nice and helpful. Read More
