I would highly recommend looking elsewhere before signing a lease here. What they tell you your monthly bill will be is completely different from what you actually end up paying. They nickel and dime you with random charges every single month. One of the most frustrating aspects is that several fees are billed based on community usage instead of your individual usage, so you end up paying for everyone else's usage regardless of how conservative you are with your own apartment.

On top of this,... the basic amenities are constantly failing. The security gate is broken quite often, which defeats the purpose of living in a gated community and leaves the property entirely open. We also had a package stolen from our front door, which was incredibly frustrating. To add to that, the valet trash service is unreliable, despite us being charged for it. I made an error on my side while trying to apply to live here and Madison went above and beyond to help us make sure that everything was fixed, including staying after hours to help us. We will be moving in this summer and already feel more than welcomed and looked out for!

Tired and disgusted with the trash, dirty breezeways, constantly broken gate, and absorbatant fees on fees. After 8+ yrs, now living in a never ending construction zone.

My Fiancé has filed multiple complaints about gnats in her apartment and has also expressed concerns about the floor boards and wall separating for months. The complex did send a maintenance worker out to inspect however nothing was ever truly addressed. Now water has flooded the entire living room and master bedroom. This flooding has taken place for 2 days and after multiple emails no one from the front office has had the decency to respond back to the email or pickup the phone to say "sorry,... we're working on the issue".

I have lived in The Village for 2 years, and just renewed my lease for another term. I chose this complex for the open floor plan, but moreover for the large kitchen and tremendous storage space. The added bonus has been the management team, they are top notch! They are very responsive to any issue. It’s a quiet neighborhood that’s convenient to most things.
