I had an amazing experience touring The James on Highland Apartments, and I can confidently say they are one of the best apartment communities in Birmingham. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was already home. The property gives true five-star, old-money vibes—elegant, timeless, and beautifully maintained.

Alexis gave me my tour and she was absolutely wonderful—so professional, welcoming, and genuinely sweet. During the application process, William and Breanna were just as amazing.... They made everything smooth, stress-free, and were incredibly helpful every step of the way.

The James on Highland apartments is above what normal apartments are in Birmingham, I’d have to say these apartments are like staying in a resort. The amenities is the best I’ve ever seen truly. The gym is bigger than most private gyms and has every piece of equipment they have. The club spaces are top notch. Did I also mention they are finishing a top of the line golf simulator, Wow. Also it will include a small store downstairs for quick essentials that u need. Security will be top notch too,... safety is there priority too. Best pool around with huge outdoor TV for movies. And the views of B,ham are amazing from the sky deck. Covered parking with plenty of spaces. About to forget the poker room , WOW. So many outdoor and indoor spaces to just get away. We started our lease right when The James opened in October 2025 and it has been nothing short of amazing! The amenities are second to none, especially the gym. Cancel your gym membership because it has it all. Pool looks amazing but haven't used it since it's been cold. The staff truly cares about their tenants and want to make sure you have everything you need.

Between the lights in the kitchen with a beautiful backsplash and the amazing closet space with already installed shelving… I love it here! We have two dogs who have adjusted within a week of moving in here and already see it as home! The staff is amazing and they are always looking and asking for ways to improve the place. The 24/7 market in the building is already a huge plus!!!

Every finish, every space, every moment of the resident experience has been curated to reflect boutique luxury with genuine warmth. Watching our first residents move in and seeing the community come to life has been such a special milestone.
