Attain at Bradford Creek

I would not recommend this place to anyone anymore. The office manager Lorena is extremely rude, incompetent, unprofessional, and condescending. She tries to create problems that don’t exist instead of fixing actual issues.

She attempted to have one of our vehicles forcibly removed from the property because she thought it was an eyesore and felt it had been parked in front of her unit for too long.

The “warning” placed on the vehicle stated that it was illegally parked and would be towed at… our expense. Lorena claimed the vehicle was inoperable and abandoned, but none of those things were true. There was no indication the vehicle was inoperable. It was not abandoned, there was no broken glass, it wasn’t on cinder blocks, nor did it have popped/flat tires. It had clothes and other belongings inside and had not been moved because my husband was literally HOSPITALIZED. My name is not on that vehicles registration or insurance which made it illegal for me to drive it.

I made her of the situation and she even admitted she assumed that was the case. This proves she knew it wasn’t abandoned. If they truly believed a resident abandoned their property, shouldn’t the office or the on site police reach out to see if their resident is okay? Instead, Lorena was adamant that if we didn’t hide our property in a garage it would be forcibly removed by the tow company. Despite there being nothing wrong with the vehicle and her having no grounds to do so.

She claimed the vehicle's registration was expired and then later admitted she knew it was the Inspection sticker but didn’t know the rules on that. Well I do, Alabama does not require inspection stickers and can’t enforce another state's law. If you're going to threaten someone's vehicle with towing, you would think management would at least be educated on the law.

I find it interesting that there are other cars on the property with missing bumpers or windows, yet our 10+ year old vehicle that happened to be parked right in front of her door is the one that she has a problem with. Forcibly removing a resident’s car because it’s an eyesore is illegal.

I asked Lorena how often they have issues with residents' vehicles being wrongfully tagged for towing, and she admitted this happens EVERY TWO WEEKS! She’s been here for months and still allows this to go on.

It’s a quiet, peaceful place with not much around, which I really like. The people are friendly, and the maintenance team is responsive and takes care of issues well.

The only downside is that I’ve been living here for two years without a mailbox, and several months’ worth of my mail somehow disappeared along the way. Other than that, I’ve been very satisfied living here.

They apartment if very nice and include a lot of services, including movie room, office, pool, and bar b que area, I just moved in and I’m liking so far

I continue to enjoy living at Attain at Bradford Creek (just signed my third lease!). It’s a lovely, well-maintained complex, with terrific amenities and a fabulous staff—both office and maintenance. The community activities are fun and well-planned. Plus I love the view from my balcony!
