Midtown Oaks

This was my first time ever renting an apartment. I’m a college student and needed some place affordable. I DON’T recommend this place. It is dirty, trash everywhere and unwelcoming. I have had too many plumbing problems, paint chipping etc. My apartment wasn’t even finished when I moved in. My kitchen was missing a drawer, which I never got. All they did was screw a piece of painted wood i. it’s place. Some flooring was missing in the bedroom. The light fixture was missing in the bathroom. No... ventilation in the bathroom. I had to get an alarm system. They failed to tell me that pest control was coming and my alarm started going off because it thought someone was breaking in! I’m highly dissatisfied with this place. I've lived here about 3 months now. I think Midtown Oaks and it's office staff have been great through my whole transition. This is my first apartment. The ladies in the office helped turn my power on and my cable. I had no idea since I'm not from Montgomery originally. I have recommended Midtown Oaks to a few friends and told them how easy it was to get started on my own. Thank you Midtown Oaks.

I'm a college student so when me and my friend were looking for an apartment we decided on Midtown oaks just because it was affordable and in close range of the school. Once our applications were accepted and we were paying for the deposit that's when everything went down hill. We were suppose to move in Aug 12. But didn't move in until the 19th because they gave up our apartment to someone else without us knowing. I drove from my hometown which is 2 hours away expecting to look at the apartment... a week before move in, which I was told we could, to be turned around because of an incompetent leasing consultant. Don't stay in the back because when it rains hard it floods because the drains are filled with trash and my roomates car was flooded in the back seat due to it.
