Nice, Quiet place

Traditions is a great place to live as an upper classmen or young adult, very quiet compared to other apartments around Tuscaloosa. Also has seemed very safe, never had any problems with break-ins. If you want to get in touch with the office you need to walk in because they might not answer the phone. The only downfall is it is a little farther from campus than most apartments.

Decent location and price, inadequate management.

Throughout the time I lived at Traditions Condominiums the building exterior, pool, and landscaping were all well kept. The apartment was nice and the price was reasonable. The location is close enough to UA, East Tuscaloosa, downtown Tuscaloosa, or midtown if you have a car. There was plenty of parking except on game day weekends when many people who only stay there for game day weekends are in town with their guests. My maintenance work orders were always addressed promptly, but residents are... charged an excessive fee for each maintenance service whether the issues is their fault or not. I've never lived at an apartment complex that has done that before.

Traditions allows short term leases which is uncommon in Tuscaloosa and the main reason I chose Traditions. Compared to the rest of the handful of apartments I've lived at, the Spaces Management team and Traditions employees were difficult to get a hold of. Most of the times when I called the office no one answered.
